Our Story

Kathleen began teaching a small group of children weekly dance lessons during the pandemic and quickly the enthusiasm for dance in the community of Golden grew. The first dance recital held at the Civic Centre in June 2022 had 45 children dancing ages 2-7. From there it developed into a full-time dance company offering various forms of dance and following the Canadian Dance Teachers Association and Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. Jaime joined Kathleen on stage that first recital and has been an integral part of the company's growth and success ever since. We continue to learn and develop our skills as teachers and are committed to offering our dancers quality lessons and opportunities to perform.

Teacher

Jaime Shanahan

Jaime began her dance training at the age of 7 in Golden B.C. When she was little, her favorite thing to do was dance. She would spend countless hours in the studio doing ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, and modern. It was essentially her second home! As she got older, she would attend many different dance conventions learning from different instructors and compete in many different competitions throughout the year. She is looking forward to teaching this years dancers and seeing what they can accomplish this year and every other year to come!
